Paired with some great western action, shoot outs and reenactments, you can clearly see why we're so anxious for June.



We've also heard of a few new details. The campgrounds at the Dodge City Rodeo Grounds will be open for the Shoot Out. Hook ups are $15 per night with water and electricity or $10 per night with only water. The vendor application has also been released. If you're interested in purchasing booth space at the Shoot Out, you can download the application here.

We know everyone is just as anxious as we are to get some more information about the Dodge City tractor pull with Renegade Pullers this June - but it looks like we will all have to hold our horses just a bit longer.

However, the Dodge House website has posted a couple of registration documents for the fast draw event. If you're interested in participating, links to more information and contact details are available near the top of the page.

Dodge House Shoot Out

The Dodge House and Dodge City Rodeo Grounds are partnering to host the 1st Annual Dodge House Shoot Out. Join us and get the heck out to Dodge for a full weekend of western fun.

The event will kick off on Saturday, June 11, with the preliminary rounds of the Shoot Out's fast-draw competition and hot rod garden tractor pull — all the while, western reenactments and stunt shows will be performed throughout the rodeo grounds. The fun will continue on Sunday, June 12, with more reenactments and the shoot out/tractor pull finals.

Beer gardens, arts and crafts, leather goods, kids' games, raffles and other concessions will all be on site for you to enjoy!

Saturday, June 11, 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Sunday, June 12, noon - 4 p.m.

at the Dodge City Rodeo Grounds, Dodge City, KS

Event admission prices
Adults - $7 one-day ticket/$10 two-day pass

Kids (3-12) - $3 one-day ticket/$5 two-day pass

Kids 3 and under - free

Tractor drivers - free (details below)

Admission fees will be waived for pullers. The pull's hook up/registration fees will be announced soon and we'll make sure we update you with that one! The pull will be hosted and organized by our good friends at Renegade Pullers — if you haven't pulled with them, it's a great crew and should be a good time. Despite the hot day, tons of people showed up for the big event and things went pretty well!

Of course, we spent the day with plenty of friends from all over the area. Good to see them all! Chris pulled Bad Habit through the day. Matt brought up Troublemaker and Bryce took over Kiss This to rattle windows in his hometown.

From Dave: "The boys did great yesterday. Chris took 1st in his class and and Bryce took 2nd in both of the classes he pulled in. It was way too cool. Bud (Chris) is really becoming a good driver [since we started in 2008]. Bryce has just started pulling with us over the last year or so, but he isn't afraid to put the pedal to the metal and is just "GO and BLOW!" Ha! Very hot, but all-in-all a good day for Noll Pulling."
